Need help deceiding

Thread Starter
I just picked up a Cosmos 1000, frigg'n sweet btw. Any way, I have been thinking about some mods.

1. Replacing stock fans with Scythe SY1425SL12H. I want to paint the fan blades with an orange UV reactive paint.
Q #1 - How do I remove the blade assembly?
Q #2 - What brand paint and from where?

2. Improve HDD area air flow by adding a front fan. (may not be needed, but will definitely look sick)
3. Have a design cut by water jet on side panel. (currently discussing this with local shop)
4. Install a smoked acrylic window.
5. Cable management mods.
6. Paint interior and exterior. (not sure on color yet)
7. Add accent lighting.

So what do ya think? Any thoughts or suggestions?

1 - Don't know how to take the blade assembly off, but for brand of paint well use Rustoleum, Krylon, Duplicolor, SEM or whatever.
4 - Use like 1/8"-1/4" thick acrylic
5 - Use a holesaw to cut the holes, and make sure your edges are not too sharp so as not to cut your cables. I would use a 1" holesaw, and if you need bigger, drill 2 1" holes next to each other in an 8 figure and sand them down to a rectangle shape with a dremel
6 - White&Black always look good, or black inside and blue outside would be cool
7 - Buy your cathodes from vibelights, they are really nice.

Thanks for the input.

I was really hoping for more input from such a creative community. I've noticed since I joined OCN that new people do not get responded to very well, kinda shoved aside to see whether or not they are going to stick around. Is it my user name that is keeping people away?

Huh? what kind of responses do you want? You gotta be more specific if you want more specific answers.

New people get replies, but you have an odd question. Personally I don't even do case modding, so can't answer your question.

But hey, I replied to your post

I would avoid painting fans. Try to find fans that match your color scheme without any modifications.

Fan blades have to be perfectly balanced or else the bearings wear pre-maturely. It's almost impossible to do a perfectly even coat of paint without some high-quality airbrushes and a closed, ventilated environment.

2. Yes, add a fan!
3/4. Depends on your aesthetic tastes... Water-jetted design would look nice if it was done really well. I am a sucker for smoked acrylic so a window also sounds like a good idea.
5. Yes, cable management FTW.
6. Paint all depends on the quality of the application. Good custom paint = awesome! Iffy custom paint = should have left it stock (IMO).
7. Yes accent lighting is nice. I like to be able to turn my CCFLs off without opening my case so I tore apart the slot-cover switches and modded them into bottom front of my case so I can turn 'em on and off with a brush of my finger:
