Many sticks come 2.2v stock, I've seen 2.3 sticks too. I think the limit is 2.6-2.7, but I am not sure about RAM voltages.

I'm happy with the heatpipe placement. I've got the Thermaltake RS's and the heat has to go through a thermal pad, aluminium, and then thermal paste to get to the heatpipe.

Only problem is that you can't move the heatpipes around like for the RS's which greatly helps compatibility.

Your thinking of Intel's tri-channel DDR3 kits. 1.65v is limited by the CPU's IMC not being able to take more then that(for long term at least)

Yes, void your memories warranty to install these heat-spreaders.

"Damnit, MemTest is reporting hundreds of errors and my ram has failed, so I have to RMA my RAM.. but whoops, I just installed these heat-spreaders so I can't RMA my dead RAM now."

I beat up my RAM like it owes me money. But I never saw the point of aftermarket sinks, especially since the stock spreaders are perfectly adequate.

Don't forget about the Corsair PC-8888's that were rated at 2.4

All you have to do is put the old heatspreaders back on
