well i was just wondering what would be best

leave the 230mm fan on the side. and create 150CFM or put four 120mms in there that create 36CFM each.

I dont know of any cheap LED fans besides the YL's from jabtech. but they will probably be considerably louder then the 230MM door fan.

http://www.jab-tech.com/YATE-LOON-12...s-pr-3773.html

$4.95 each if you buy the 4. they claim 47CFM with 28DB. A word of warning though, jabtech has recently been found to be selling knock off yate loons that come with motors found in smaller 80MM fans. 4 of these would mean 188CFM claimed versus cooler masters 230mm 150CFM claim.

LED Yates weren't good to begin with (compared to normal Yates), so I expect pretty terrible fans from Jab-tech.

I have found that any color LED fan is much less reliable and less effective than the similar non-LED fans. That's what led me to using some non-led slipstreams and just adding 2 led bars. If you can't find any good blue led ones, I would suggest the same (or use some cold cathodes)

Also, this OEM Blue replacement fan would work flawlessly if you decided to switch out the red fans.

wow that OEM fan would be brilliant. just what im looking for, but thats in the US. ill see if i can find one in britian.

thats also a very good idea, putting 4 non LED standard fans in there and put cathodes instead.

i have just looked on a website i order from here in the UK and found some Akasa imperial fans. they're cheap, quiet and offer 49CFM. they also have blue rotor blades which help.

then i might add a cathode in there too.

what you guys think?

edit: these are the fans by the way

i saw someone ask about prices in different countries. I had a similar problem. quoting the usd equivalent, an antec 902 down here costs $198 whereas the antec 1200 costs $228. The HAF, which is what i was really looking to get, would have to be imported, and the CIF price was already looking like close to $300 (duties not included).

I ended up getting the 902 this morning but under similar circumstances which would you pick?
