Really that much difference? cmon just oc the thing and save 30 bucks

The cpu themselves aren't much different, but reaching the same clock when you are ocing may be from two completely different set of bios options. 720 may offer more flexibility with unlocked multi which might help you overcome some of your hardware's shortcomings through bios options.

Unlocked multipliers and extra .2GHz to start with.

I'm actually really debating this myself.

The 720 just went down to $149.99, but the 710 also went down to $119.99.

To be honest, I think I'm going the 710 route. Plus, it makes things a little more challenging.

They're the same processor, the 720 just has an unlocked multiplier and is factory clocked 200MHz higher.
