EDIT: And some tips overclocking the 7750 (on 780G?), DO NOT CHANGE NB FREQUENCY, I did 2 tests to get this 1 hour OCCT, my first one, NB Frequency @ 8x, HT LINK @ 6x, crashed in about 12 minute OCCT, however next time, I increased NB Frequency to 9x, so its running @ like 2.2GHz? and was able to get a 1 hour OCCT stable

3.31? lol wanted 3.3 but 245 x 13.5 is closest to 3.0 (or 244 x 13.5 = 3.294 lol)

settings are

HTLINK = 1200 so 6 x 245
NB FREQUENCY = x9 so 9 x 245 = ????
CPU FREQUENCY = 13.5 x 245 = 3307

CPU VOLT = 1.475
NB VID = +0.075 = 1.4V
NB CORE = +0.2V = 1.3V

edit2: and validation http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=575620

Temperatures topped @ 32*C, however NB reached a unpleasant 56* in the hour.

Will do some more stability testing next week after i finish this month's quota off, lol

edit: failed, it might be the ram failing me, crappp, i was unable to do normal tasks on my overclock

but @ my 3.2GHz i ran a 3DMARK06 benchmark got 11978

Just an FYI, the NB clock speed also corresponds to the L3 cache speed and will provide the most significant performance boost of any Phenom setting. Running 3.3Ghz @ 1.45v and my NB @ 2.4Ghz I can hit 11,230 in 3dmark06 on a lowly 8800gs. The NB temp reading you're seeing is actually the motherboard's nb chip, not the Kuma's.

elsewise if it hangs, could be other hardware having problem

or you over clocked too much and ur hdd gone crazy cuz it bsod too much, lol

anything can be the problem.

mine never HANGED, but screen stops for like a few seconds then works again.

EDIT: 3.3 GHz 1 HOUR OCCT STABLE AGAIN
feels more stable this time

It was still on stock speed. Now, I transferred my HDD to another RIG..same cpu, memory and a gigabyte value mobo and it works fine on stock setting but when messing with the multiplier it does not display at all even on x13.5.

another thing, i also tried to use redfox board with the 8100 on board video and ASUS value mobo m2*** and m3*** i could not remember the exact models but all of then with 430nvidia chipset, with new 7750 be. The redfox went to 3 on stock HSF but after restarting only 1.5 could be seen. the Multiplier dropped to x7.5 and STUCK at 7.5 even on reset and cleared cmos. This also happened on asus M3*** but the m2 works fine. I havnt tested it if its stable or not. If i set it to auto again, the multiplier goes to 6.25.

What could i do to get back to the original multiplier or auto? I also load the optimized setting but with no luck, set the multiplier to auto and still no luck, still stuck at 6.25.

Ooo, ty, so higher NB = better performance, but at that 3.3 ghz using 245 FSB, the NB is at 2200 -.-' still low 3D Mark, lol

mm i knew that, but for the Kuma, is the NB VID the NB voltage setting for that? cuz if i change it, my computer goes crazy

hm, what are u using to check the multiplier? shud be CPU-Z

resetting bios turns cool and quiet back on? (most the time) but then i dont remember cool and quiet dropping the multiplier by half, lol

yes, i was using CPU-Z. When opening CPU-Z it would show 13.5 and after 1 second it would change to 6.75. That's why i'm wondering what the culprit was. lol ASUS M3 and Redfox boards. Same Results.lol only the ASUS M2 worked fine.
turn off cool n quiet.
Turing off cool and quiet didn't work. Is there someone with same situation?

can the poster explain what this means

also what is the advantage in using a HT of 1.2 GHZ over 1.8?

Upping the NB Frequency increases the speed of the computer overall,

suppose a 3.2 ghz 7750 with 2.4 ghz nb is equivalent to a 3.3 ghz 7750 with 1.8 ghz, the stock value

there is no advantage of ht link? its been tested, supposedly a 800 mhz ht link was more stable for my board
