Shezz, people act as though NVIDIA invented 3d and own the whole idea. Let's not forget that the only thing NVIDIA brings to the table is a pair of glasses and a driver. If ur having issues with ether. Your still on your own as NVIDIA will not help u beyond instructions included in their manual. Their forums are not manned nor will they respond to any posts. Please do not think NVIDIA wants any more from u than your money. I have been in their forums a long time and seen a lot of people hurt/ripped off/lied to and decived by nvidias poor marketing. I have also seen the ban hammer threatened for even saying this and towards owners of said tech for mentioning this. I'm not a hater just been around there too long to beleave that.

I don't care if you want to accept what is obvious, no harm to me but please don't think NVIDIA loves u......or knows or cares who u are, they care about one thing only and that is what u deposited into their account. I knew there was issues when I bought my 3d vision bundle and i am not bitter because of it but I am also not naive to think I'm any more than a simple user of their tech. I accept it for what it is and the flaws that arise during use. NVIDIA provides the best example of 3d in the home imo but its not perfect. I'm not trying to stop anyone from a purchase but to provide a real and experianced view of where it is at the moment.

I do enjoy nvidias forum and post there often, many wonderfull users. Ps. 3d guru is swelled, he does what NVIDIA should do. So s for the spelling, in a waiting room on a old cell that is horrable, please forgive
Please don't take this the wrong way. Your structure in writing skills hurts my head to read.

Spell checker is your best friend. You also need to work on your abbreviations, capitalization, punctuations, and run on sentence / paragraph's which hurt what your trying to convey.

Please take the time, I'm sure even the moderators would really appreciate it.

Sorry on a cell. Auto corrects and no screen to see once the letters have been pushed. Point is clear though

Just got a tip from fellow OCNer that Hard Reset demo is available on steam. I've been eagerly awaiting Sept 13 release, as it looks just like my type of mindless shooter

Anyways, I tried it and the game looks gorgeous in S3D. There is a slight ghosting on some objects, but I didn't have time to play with shadows and other settings, nor to look if game crosshair can be disabled. Otherwise, it looks extremely impressive in 3D.

Crosshair is 2D, so I lowered depth and added convergence. Still looks awesome. I took some screenshots for fellow 3D vision users: feel free to download and watch as slide show http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1092304/hard_reset_jps.rar

P.S. Never mind 30FPS avg in screenshot, didn't have time to enable SLI so it ran on single 580 maxed with MLAA.

Thanks for the heads-up. Hard Reset is *amazing* in 3D. I'm not a huge FPS fan but this is very close to FPS perfection. Dark, cyberpunk. Feels like Quake meets Half life 2 at night. I hope the whole game is at night. I love dark, gloomy games. Perfect 3D (except for small shadow issue and HUD and close weapon). Audio is so very immersive. Zero input lag. Physics is awesome. Electronic menus float in 3D (like in Dead Space).

Usually, I dont like games with no story but this game. Just wow! I might decide to pre-order this.

Playing now with ultra graphics and MLAA. FPS 30-60 with my single GTX 580. Still very smooth with zero input lag. Cant remember the last game I played which felt so smooth.

I thought the exact same thing when I played the Hard Reset demo.

Sadly I found the demo a little boring.

Been playing many hours The Witcher 2 on 3D now, it looks unbeliavable. Best 3D what i have seen on game... Cannot be even described in words (it looks perfect). Had before 580 overlocked to its limits, and it wasnt enough at all for Witcher 2 at 3D. Now with 2, 570s game is very smooth (+30 fps all times, which is smooth in this game) all on Ultra expect ubersampling is off.

EDIT: is it me or is the Nvidia 3D vision little broken in these latest drivers? Metro 2033 hangs at after intro movies + Depth slider on IR emitter doesnt work sometimes.

It is extremely smooth. Kudos to dev team (I think it's a German game, but don't hold me to that). Pc exclusive, no drm, no draconian $60 price at launch - I am going to preorder it just to support this amazing company, and I NEVER preorder, ever. We need more devs like that to support pc gaming. And demo looks and feels production polished. Amazing

My IR emitor did not work with the latest drivers so I had to kick back to 275.33. Not to big of a problem, just a pain to deal with.
