Currently got nvidia 3d vision setup with my Optoma HD67N Projector (N for being Nvidia certified)

Not using official Nvidia 3D Vision kit though, I'm using chinese copies, but they work exactly the same as the Nvidia kit but a third of the price will post pics soon.

Lets be honest most of the default crosshairs kind of suck. Well I made a few new crosshairs of my own by following the directions in this thread and I figured that I would share them with you guys.

Just drop this file into "Program files (x86)/Nvidia Corporation/3D Vision" and overwrite. It might not be a bad idea to back up the original "nvstres.dll" which I forgot to do.

They seem to work fine. Hopefully there won't be any issues with different driver revisions. Anyways, give it a shot.

And right when I was trying to come up with a plan to sell my kit down the road, this game blindsides me (no possible pun intended) with it's 3D amazingness. I'm so glad I decided to reinstall the 3D kit to give this game a go.
Oh yes, watching the dashboard of the car in DiRT 3 in 3D is superb. I struggle to keep my eyes on the track!

This new lightboost technology looks like a nice addition. Sadly when I saw the scans posted on 3d vision blog about the new Asus display I thought that had something to do with the new glasses. Sadly my monitor won't benefit.

It also looks like the new glasses don't really offer much. I don't think that I'll be in a rush to upgrade my glasses. One of these days I'm sure that I'll want a wireless kit though.

Damn...I just bought my 3D Kit a month ago....

I may sell my current monitor and 3d kit to move up to this. A 4'' gain in monitor size and newer revised glasses is tempting.

Ill be running my current setup into the ground befor i upgrade again. Hopefully by that time there will be some competition for nvidia and much of the issues we currently have with this tech will be cleared up. Bloody expensive stuff, just realizing my new single 580gtx still does not offer playable fps at the highest settings...so sad.

so I received the kit last weekend, not too impressed by the effect but then again I got it for a bargain and enjoyed it in f1 2011.

Will be testing out more games when I have the time.

If you aren't impressed, you are doing something wrong. Read the thread and learn all the tips and tweaks. This isn't something you can setup and have working perfectly in 5 minutes.

Look through the thread and try some of the recommended games. Also, remember to enable convergence in advanced settings. It can make a HUGE difference.
