I wish i could try it with surround too

I love how smooth the game is. I cant play it on ULTRA with High Res Textures but I can play the game at Extreme without the texture pack but still hell of a great game.

I am loving it

Also i am waiting for the DLC to come out for Hard Reset to play that game.

Really? I thought that it looked like a popup book. I was unimpressed with Crysis 2 3d. I much prefer native Nvidia 3d vision.

It is not like real 3Dvision i can say that but it is still much fun to be honest. I am loving it biggrin.gif

It sucks that we can not adjust convergence though.

Also this question goes to all of you.

Should i get a seperate PHYSX GPu to play batman or mafia in 3D?

would i benefit from a difirent Physx GPU in 3Dvision?

For those of you who want to try out Hard Reset in 3D. The game is on sale here

Hey guys, I was looking to get into Nvidia 3D so I ordered the BenQ XL2420TX. I view this as a double upgrade for me: I get a 120Hz monitor and a 3D monitor. My current setup includes GTX 480 SLI. Since these cards pretty much max any game out there I am expecting good performance from them in 3D right?

Quick Question: Are the games I will be able to play in 3D only games that support Nvidia 3D? If a game does not say it supports Nvidia 3D is there a way to play it in 3D? Sorry I kind of don't know much info about 3D gaming.

So I know we are hours away from the GTX 680 launch. For 3D performance, do you guys think it will be better to have a single GTX 680 or two GTX 480 in SLI? I was thinking of returning one of my GTX 480s (no restocking fee) and doing the EVGA Step Up to get a GTX 680. But I would only do that if the performance of one GTX 680 is better. Checking benchmarks the GTX 480 SLI beats out the 7970 so I am thinking it might be dead even with the GTX 680. In which case it would not be worth it to upgrade since it would cost me $150 more. Not sure how the GTX 480 SLI does against the 7970 in more modern games since there are not many modern games 480's SLI benchmarks out there.

Any thoughts on this? I need to decide soon whether to pay to be in the Step Up program and don't want to pay to then not upgrade. I am leaning towards no because I think the GTX 680 will be marginally better or sometimes even against the GTX 480 SLI set up.

wait for good benchmarks, and consider that SLI performance varies upon the program (game). on a well-optimized for sli game, I would assume the 2sli would be better, but you never know.
