Try turning down the contrast on your display a bit it can help. Also try playing with digital viberance in the digital control panel. I agree, it is a good looking game in 3d despite the ghosting.

And my "Start button" is now where I'd want it (centre screen)! coolsmiley.png

My understanding is that 3D Vision forces v-sync on at all times. Unless nvidia has relaxed that rule (or unless the modified .inf can force off v-sync), I can't imagine how adaptive v-sync would benefit 3D. Please correct me if I am wrong. But I need to see proof that adaptive v-sync works with 3D vision.

Perhaps the "smoother" feeling is because when new nvidia drivers are installed, the control panel settings normally reset to "default". Every time I update nvidia drivers, I must re-setup 3D vision, turn on triple buffering, and double check all other nvidia control panel settings. Hard reset plays smoother (higher fps) in 3D for me with triple buffering on.

Yes in 3Dvision vsync is forced.

Also i am not sure but i believe when 3Dvision is enabled Tripple buffering is automatically enabled in games too. but i might be wrong.

Yeah I agree smile.gif

But I'm talking "surround gaming" on three screens! Not 3D gaming thumb.gif

I played Hard Rest again in 3D. Set "triple buffering" --> off
I think you are correct.
Triple buffering seems to be forced on while 3D vision is enabled.

I have a question on the new Nvidia surround on the GTX680s.... Will the display port need a active DP adapter like the ones need for AMDs Eyefinity??

I just finished Mirror's Edge in 3D.

I wrote a review about it and let me write down my 3Dvision experience from that review

3DVision : Mirror's Edge is rated "Good" by Nvidia and I agree. The game could have been great in 3D, but I experienced few problems. Mainly shader issues, ghosting or wrong rendering of the objects, however when I switched to Directx10 via the .ini file of the game, the experience got better. It could have been an even greater experience but many small annoyances ruined it at times. However if you have a 3D setup, you should give this a go in Directx10 mode.

So I just got the BenQ TX model (will post pics later). I am itching to get more 3D content. Is there a way to view the 3D screenshots posted here in 3D? Do I need to save them to my PC and open them with the Nvidia Picture Viewer?

Also, what drive should I get to view BluRay 3D movies? Do I view them with VLC? Is there like a 3D option in VLC?

As you can tell I am new to 3D. So far it has been awesome smile.gif Exceeded my expectations.
