That's because I can find one in my country, and it's 'cheap' here compared to other product (which are normally 3x their price on the USA, this monitor is just 1.3x). And I can only bring 500 dollars from the USA without paying taxes to the government (that sucks), and I'm already buying a Transformer Prime Infinity and maybe a SSD and a new videocard (cmon nVidia, release GTX 660 already!). So it might be a little difficult to purchase this monitor there, so if the T version is good, i'm buying it here. I read that it doesn't come with the glasses and that it doesn't have a built-in emitter (which sucks), in this case I could buy only the glasses kit on the USA. I also read that the T version doesn't support 3D through HDMI, while TX does (so no PS3 3D with the T version?). Are those informations correct?

Yes you probably know all of the differences between the XL2420T and XL2420TX already. Basically three things for the XL2420T compared with the XL2420TX:

1.) No included glasses
2.) No built-in emitter
3.) No 3D through HDMI

Hey DarthRevan - If you were curious what it looks like I have a video of my ASUS VG278H monitor in 2D action if you'd like to see what gaming looks like on it. GTX 690 keeping 91 FPS average.

Keep in mind this was filmed with my iPhone. biggrin.gif Though you'll get a good idea on what the colors look like. wink.gif

Thanks for your help guys, it seems Asus is indeed the best option. Thanks for the video mate!
Just one last thing, I've been waiting for 4 years to get 3D Vision, just waiting for the technology to be good enough. Do you guys think it is worth it nowadays? Or should I wait one more year, maybe much better and improved monitors will be released... I just don't know, it's all very expensive not to be perfect...

3Dvision is a great technology.

I am a huge fan of 3D. I dont have my rig at the moment, but will have it on July 3rd so you will see me more often on this thread.

HOWEVER, note that majority of the games in 3Dvision have issues that will bother you. They bother me. THese issues are sometimes corrected by HELIX MODs but still it bothers me. The technology is no where near perfect but I dont see why you shouldnt jump on to it.

Go out there. Buy the technology. Buy the monitor. Get into 3D. You will not regret it, but i am sure some games you want to play in 3D might not be as great as you expect it to be.

Sometimes things like crosshair makes a game hard to play in 3D although the 3D effects might be awesome.

Oh, and if you have an NVidia GPU already and some colored glasses. You could always use the "Try 3d" option from the NVidia control panel smile.gif
