Installed, did some quick test - feedback below.
Please note this is very skim test as I don't have much time - so without any scientific method, just a quick gameplay to see how it runs by the feel (3

scale - slideshow, semi-smooth, smooth), no benchmarks.

Overall, I'm very impressed considering this is beta.
Some dissappointment with NFS Shift, may be 3-way SLI issue though, will experiment with it more.

1) Setup
Very easy, by configure button for multi display in the panel.
You can assign displays as you want as well as configure bezel space.
Worked out 114 pixels for AW 2310 (by eye).

2) Metro 2033
Can run only up to 5040x1050. I quickly figured out why . Tricky setup
2D - no problems, great
3D - AWESOME! Had to scale down to DX10/medium/AAA/4AF to be smooth

3) Batman AA
5760x1080 fine, easy setup
2D - no problems, great
3D - AWESOME! Had to drop though from 16AA to 2AA to be smooth / semi smooth at times

4) NFS Shift
5760x1080 fine, easy setup
2D - no problems, great
3D - slideshow, unplayable. Will try out 2GPU + PhysX setting later. A shame as I like this game a lot

5) Dirt 2
5760x1080 fine, auto setup
2D - no problems, great
3D - very good

6) Mass Effect 2
Doesn't work in surround, scales screen very badly. Again a shame as I like it a lot.

7) Unigine Heaven
5760x1080 fine, easy setup
2D - fine, had to drop bells&whistles though
3D - had to drop bells&whistles a lot, spectacular in 3D but crashed on me at some point.

8) Crysis Warhead
5760x1080 fine, easy setup
2D - Epic win Enthusiast settings, though no AA
3D - not tried yet,

Will have a look at Just Cause 2, Prototype, L4D, L4D2, & Stalke Pripyat once I have more time.

Quick desktop screen so you know it is real

Thanks for the quick review Luke!!! +1 for your time!!!

Luke can you answer this for me? How is your emitter setup? Your only using one connected to your PC and have the monitors running HDMI's to the cards???

Just trying to see if I can get away with doing a 3 X 60" screen setup, true sim type sh@!...I have to use the 3 pin VESA connector on the emitter so I might be SOL unless Nvidia can find a way to get the 3 TV's to sync with one emitter...Must find a way to get the 3 VESA connectors from the TV's into one main box to drive the glasses, cause right now it's not possible unless they can rig something up....

No problems, glad it could be useuful.

I have to try again Metro 2033, have read on the HardOCP review that guy managed to run it full 5760x1080 so can't see reasons why it wouldn't run on mine. Can't wait for the Just Cause 2, never played it and heard very positive user feedback.

Also I have to say I was expecting more problems with 3-sli seeing some folks complaining at nvidia forums, turned out only NFS Shift has problems (at least in the games I've tried so far)

I suspect now it relates only to tri-sli on 400 series - or some graphic settings - there was other user on nvidia forum using 2 sli with 3D surround and his gameplay was mint.

Anyways will know for sure tonight, I'm as hopeful as usual

Theoretically yes you are right as well as that article. There could be a way around this though and I will explain my logic. See you guys using 120Hz LCD monitors are only using the emitter with one USB going to your PC. So it is safe to say your PC is driving your 3D Vision glasses and the LCD is only needed to keep the required refresh rate. That said, if you want to view anything else in 3D, either cable or satellite for example, you would need different glasses that are compatible. Now on my setup I have to connect an extra wire that you guys should have just laying around, the 3-pin VESA cable. This VESA cable actually syncs the emitter to the refresh rate on the TV and drives the glasses from the display. Without that cable I can not view 3D.

Now here is where it gets exspensive...
Firstly you would need 3 same model DLP HDTV's from Mitsubishi.
Next you would need only one 3D Vision kit (whole kit) only using one for an example.
Then you would need to have a PC capable of doing 3D Vision Surround. in my case add another GTX480.
Now this is just a theory here but the new 3D adapter that Mitsubishi is pushing could help bridge the gap for this. Here is another pic of how this adapter works.

Now this 3D adapter can convert the new 3D HDMI 1.4 standard signal to the checkerboard format for use on these DLP's. Now if you look at the picture of how the adapter is used there is an "IN and a OUT" VESA connector on the adapter. There is also an "IN and OUT" for the HDMI's. HDMI 1.4 is the same size connector as the currents so nothing changes there.

Based off of this info do you guys think theoretically this could work if you daisy chained 3 of these adapters together? Also if this theory is flawed please give me feedback as to why. Also throwing out there, there are these glasses made to sync with the DLP chip in the TV so there would be no emitter but would require you to purchase Nvidia's 3D TV Play software that is for newer HDMI 1.4 TV's. What do you guys think? I have 2 DLP's just not a third but would like to try this out...

Turned out 3D issue was an in-game settings issue.
With 5760x1080 @60hz - slideshow, 5760x1080 @120hz - Brilliant, no problems.

Interestingly previously I was using 1920x1080 @60hz for 3D and no problems so presumably in surround driver does not force 120hz in this particular game.

258.69, PhysX OFF, 4.67ghz, 875mhz core, 1975 mem

Bad news - 6,1% performance drop in Vantage - but I can live with it for now, after all this is beta.

Bad news - 6,1% performance drop in Vantage - but I can live with it for now, after all this is beta.
Glad to see you got your NFS Shift probs fixed...And nice Vantage score bro!

3D Surround with the DLP's might be possible only if I can find a Y splitter for the 3-pin VESA cable. Need to dig some more for one but would like some feedback as to if my theory could work...Does anyone know anybody who can make me a VESA 3-pin Y splitter?? LOL
