I dont believe Samsung S27A750D is 3Dvision compatible. Maybe via hack. Asus version is the best 3Dvision2 supporter monitor there. 690 Quad SLI you mean? Nicee thumb.gif You will probably have constant 60 fps any game out there unless that game has optimization issues

I know he's been doing the research thumb.gif

Hahah Yeah this was the monitor I was going to buy but ended up getting an IPS Panel. I want to try the 1440p gaming as welll.

I am selling my 3Dvision monitor now.

Have to say goodbye to 3D gaming for a while. I will be back though.

I wish I could keep a 3Dvision 2 and a 1440p IPS panel but I just cant at the moment.

My goal is to have a bigger space in my desk so i can grab a 3Dvision 2 monitor some time soon.

Hello everybody. Bought my RZ2233 two years ago, as 120Hz has its benefits in gaming, but only got to purchasing glasses kit a few weeks ago.

Considering what club it is, here is the photo of my desk with monitor and 3D vision kit:

Not since Nvidia pulled the "generic crt" support and checkerboard. You would be stuck with HDMI 1.4 only with the Sammy.

I am really hoping that Nvidia does something for 3D in TVs.

I wish checkerboard was officially supported.

Roller11 in nvidia forums had helped me alot for activating checkerboard via HDMI 1.4 in my Samsung TV. It worked but not as great.

Thanks.

Quite nice, watched some films in 3D and experimented with some games. Was pleasantly surprised by Civ V; before trying it in 3D, I'd though that it isn't the kind of game where 3D adds anything. The experience changed my opinion, 3D adds a feeling of a nice game board behind display.

Generally, the most problematic part is the ghosting of bright objects, but it isn't critical most of the time.

No questions, I haven't already found the answer for, so far.

Yeah, I hear that checkerboard support was great. I don't know why they dropped it.

I have owned both of these monitors. The Sammy does not naturally support 3d vision, iARDAs is correct there is a hack, but it's a pain in the butt.

As far as pic quality the Sammy has a slight edge when it come to 2d, but when it comes to 3d Asus 3d vision 2 is top notch and in a league of its own. The Sammy's 3d had a lot of ghosting.

How does the ASUS VG278H compare with the BenQ XL2420TX?

BenQ 2420 is also a nice monitor but it is 24 inches. Although 1080p might look better in 24 inch than 27 inch, 3D effects always look better on bigger monitors.

Benq is not a bad choice, a person would still be very happy with that monitor, but I would still prefer the Asus version.
