Why in earth's name did you buy 3D Vision? There are way cheeper solutions.
The iz3D monitor uses 2 physical screens and uses the polorized 3D method just like you would see being used in a movie theater with those plastic glasses. Me i don't have an iz3D monitor but I do have a 60" 3D ready DLP. Now I do use the iz3D drivers and they are free for ATI radeon owners for the DLP 3D format, and aslo free for anaglyph output. Otherwise it would throw you back $50 for the drivers. Now the glasses I am using are from http://www.edimentional.com and are made for the DLP's yes it may be a 60Hzt refresh rate but at $800 (now) can't beat it especially over the $300 22" 120Hzt monitors. Nvidia is just trying to force people to buy certain products IMO. I am no ATI fanboy but am a hardcore 3D fanatic. I had a 9800GTX+ before I upgraded to my 5850. Anyways back on topic, the glasses cost me $150 for 2 pairs and also came with 2D-3D conversion software (Tridef) and the wireless dongle. Now if you had a choice today to pick 1 pair of glasses for $200 or 2 pairs with the conversion software for $150, extra pairs at $50 instead of $150 I belive, which would you choose? Tough decision? I thought so. I can convert any movie I have into 3D mind you it has no popout because the movie was not formatted in 3D but has alot of depth. Also for 3D movie viewing you would need to download and buy stereoscopic player: http://www.3dtv.at/Products/Player/Index_en.aspx costs $50 but you can get it for cheeper $25 from the iz3D store, I did. I have all the newer releases from My Bloody Valentine to Coroline all in perfect 3D. Some movies can be bought here: http://www.3d-geek.net/ Sorry if this post seems like I am bashing you all that own the 3D vision kit, but I am PO'ed at Nvidia for doing what they did with it. If they made the kit cheeper and the extra pair of glasses cheeper then I would have no flame. But it would take alot of $$ to buy glasses for you family to enjoy, and probably not worth it to buy if you have kids, uless you feel like buying another pair in case they break one. One thing I am def waiting on is for iz3D to support DX11 in thier upcoming driver realese which is supposed to be released next month, just in time for BF BC2. I am subbed to this thread as I hope to learn and maybe help other 3D enthusiasts. Oh I almost forgot, Have any of you guys played the Avatar game? If so how does the 3D Vision work with the games native 3D support? That game is one hell of a game I love it, and would def recommend it.

Yah finally done!
Okay...... you are smart and we are dumb.

@Seanicy

Ok for one... no one offers stereoscopic 3d solution like nvidia does. And if you try to compare the "movie 3d" to my 3d vision, you will see that ever dollar spent (600$ for me at the time when I got it, right after it was released) was worth it.

With the older style 3d you won't get any better then 30fps and now I don't know for sure but I don't think you can adjust the depth of 3d with any other solution.

Also, NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player is free, which allows you to play 3d movies.

As far as dx11 support obviously nvidia hasn't released there dx11 cards yet so no they don't support dx11 3d vision as of yet. But I do believe that BC2 will have native 3d vision support as well.

I do agree that it overpriced but I will say I don't regret it one bit.

As far as having multiple pairs of glasses, I don't care if I only have one pair for the simple fact that I normally play my games by myself, and normally games that are not multiplayer on the same machine. So that kind of defeats the purpose to buy another pair just for someone to watch me play.

All in all stereoscopic way of producing 3d is way better then the red/blue or even the newer all black 3d glasses as they don't have active shutters. And they cannot produce the framerates to see more fluidly.

As far as Avatar I have yet to play the game. I saw the movie and the whole time I was watching the movie I was thinking to myself, damn this 3d sucks compared to mine because mine has soooo much more depth to it.

Yes your solution might have been cheaper but you get what you pay for and this is no exception.

How big a monitor do you need for this to look right? I am curious.

Would it look right on a 120Hz TV from far away?

Add me!

Well I don't have a monitor yet. Debating between the viewsomic or the acer one.

Well guys since my last post I decided to switch teams and went back with Nvidia. To be honest the 3D quality is exactly the same as ATI's solution with the IZ3D drivers. I made the switch mostly for DX11 support in Metro 2033 and BFBC2. The glasses are more durable but cost $100 more per pair which is not OK in my book. Also I read soon Nvidia is releasing the new 3D driver which should support windowed 3D mode (so no more having to be stuck in fullscreen to work) and also the 3D plug-in for IE and FF browers...ATI and IZ3D are a little behind in the driver department so I left them and sold my Asus 5850 and replaced it with a Palit GTX480...

Here is how I got my setup looking...For the record my HDTV is a 60Hz Mitsubishi 3D Ready DLP model#WD-60735
I also want to apologize if I came off as rude or disrespectful in my previous post.
Can I join the club Kush?

It is a Rocketfish Bluetooth KB+M combo that I got from Best Buy...Let me try to find the link for you...Will edit my post when I find it.

edit:
Yeah my KB+M is discontinued, I grabbed the last one that day when I bought it and they were trying to charge me $99.99 for it. Luckily I printed out my item I wanted and made sure I printed out the part that showed stock at my local BB and they matched the $69.99. Got a good deal but now it's discontinued...
Here is the link to a like combo: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Rocketfi...&skuId=9432303

Only thing this KB needs is backlit keys and if it had, it would be pure WIN...
I also have multimedia buttons on my mouse, like pause, play, foward, backward and even a left and right scroll wheel...
I will edit this post again later when I get home to give you the exact model #...
