Hey guys,

A friend just offered me $400 for my aw2310 monitor. Since, I can get the cash, is there any monitor at the moment that outperforms the aw2310 or one that has major improvements in terms of ghosting?

That monitor is one of the best in my opinion when I was doing my homework over which one to choose. I purchased it and it's awesome. Ghosting most of the time can be fixed by adjusting the 3D settings. There isn't any monitor that's perfect. Alienware is one of the higher qaulity monitors, even though they have been bought out by DELL. As for the 2D side of it, blu-ray pops out at me and has better color qaulity over the last 60hz monitor I was using. Even 2D gaming is so much better that I can't see myself ever owning or going back to another 60hz monitor again, even if I wasn't going to go 3D.

To my knowledge that's still one of the best (if not the best) 120hz monitor out as of right now still.

Go for it, it's major reason I went from 1 3D screen to 3 in surround.

thank you for that list it will definitely come in handy. earlier in my post i didnt mean to say monitor i meant to say i want to buy an HDTV around the same size that i have now that i can use for 3d gaming but all of the sizes that are listed on the compatibility list are WAY to big to put on a desk. i have searched for a while now and can not figure out anything. i guess if i have to 3d game then i need to sacrifice the size but im really used to it

3D HDTV under 58"..... there's a lot. Check out the Samsung 3D Plasmas. Make sure they support checkerboard because only checkerboard can do 3d, 1080p @ 60fps.

Currently Samsungs are the only plasmas that support checkerboard (thus only samsung plasmas can do 3d @ 1080p 60fps).

Non-checkerboard 3d plasmas (like the one I have) are limited to 720p @ 60fps.

2 questions guys;
1) I recently downloaded the Tron Legacy 3D trailer (118 megs) and it seems like Cyberlink PowerDVD is not able to predict that it is a side by side image video file, so it goes into the automatic 2D to 3D mode, displaying both sides at the same time...Is this a known limitation? (The file extension was simply avi.)

2) With the Nvidia Vision Player, it plays fine, but the 3D effect is very poor. Is this due to the quality of the clip and size, or does the player just suck?

I downloaded the clip from here;
