any help please
Extra memory bandwidth is always nice for these cards. If the price difference isn't very big, then go with GDDR4.

Also people, POST YOUR 4670 BENCHMARKS!!

I get 8338 3dmark06

As you can see the gpu scores are almost the same so that is the optimum.

How can they possibly call an i7 and a GTX295 a common system

i think i uploaded the wrong images; almost no improvement to sm2&3 with a decent oc
though scores arent that different, as far as i know, 3dmark06 doesnt support quadcore?

Because people that are into serious will bench more than joe public, thus the common system is gonna be far ahead of what you'd consider an 'average' common system would be.

GDDR4 is faster with less voltage in theory, although you'd have to overclock the GPU a lot to get any real advantage that you'd notice IMO.

Sweet, although I'm having trouble with 4x1Gb even when I up the voltage a bit, I'm moving to 2x2Gb though as a side-grade. I thought I had it cracked when I managed to get 3.5Ghz (on stock voltage) on the E5200 by upping the FSB after downing the RAM so that it crept back up with the FSB and was only 50mhz above there stock speed and a 0.1v increase in voltage on them.

I just need more fiddle time, this board has a lot more things to twiddle than the older Asrocks (they were easy to OC, this one has foibles I haven't learnt yet).

Oh yeah, and I'll get my Orb score at some point tomorrow if I find the time (woman + kid etc).

that might be true, but i still think it's overrated, you cant go much higer end than that

anyways, my ati oc (850, 975) is going well except for some graphical glitches in ProStreet, but i dont have that problem with my other games
other than that, it is stable as a rock
i also noticed that my card runs very cool with a zalman vf900.. cant give actual temps, but its nice and cool, even at load with fan at lowest speed
