Probably so that you can pay the same as everyone else, but they can make the card for slightly less. Only running at 873 makes a difference too.
Did some tests with Lightsmark 2008 to see clock speed scaling 1600x1200 16xaa 16xaf

750/875: 51.4
750/1004: 55.5 (+7.9%)
750/1200: 60.0 (+16.7%)
820/990: 57.1 (+11.1%)
850/1200: 63.7 (+23.9%)

@ Bkpizza I overclocked mine to 850 and 1200 very unstable but I got 60 fps

I presume mine are Hynix aswell, if we have the same stock speed and overclock limit.

I'm not digging mine out though, their under a generous layers of Ceramique and aluminium

Here's my 3D Mark 06 score. This is with my HIS 4670 turbo at the "stock overclock" of 780 / 2000. I'm about to change my system to an i7 860 in a couple days, just waiting for my new power supply. I'll re-run it then.

@1june, they are very nice, mine isnt all that stable at 1200 either so you have done really good. And yeah i know what you mean Sleezey, I had to go off memory, my chips were burning so i chucked sinks on mine too.

ALRIGHT PPL NEED HELP NOW!!! Theres that new update for HD4600 series. v1.1 is out. I installed it and now ccc wont work anymore. I uninstalled it and tried other older versions and only got errors and seems LIKE NO versions works anymore. Have been trying to fix it for 5 hours but no luck. Cant get ccc to work. PLZ HELP! Im sure all of you xp users in that club must have same problems

Uninstall Rivatuner, that always screws CCC.
