The "Official" ATI HD4670 Owners Thread: Club 4670 - Page 35

I've been mainly watching TV and Torrents on my HTPC which contains the HD4670. After a year + I was looking at upgrading my PC. I would like to have some fun with the AMD Overdrive and a Phenom CPU. So I was looking at a AMD SB750 board and getting a second HD4670 512 Sapphire card.

Is anybody else running two in Crossfire?

All I've mainly seen is benchmarks but I wanna know how it actually preforms in games. Out of all the new games the newest is GRID, however that was the demo and I missed out on Steam's after Christmas sale which I could have gotten it at $12.95, however I know it will drop to at least $20 soon enough and also I might pick up NFS: Shift.

How do you guys like your Crossfire setup and please don't suggest a newer faster card, buying a new MB and CPU + a new card is already at my budget limit. Plus I still need to upgrade from Win7 Beta 7000 to Win7 Ultimate.

Thanks

Crossfire has been gret for benching (for what a 4670 is anyway) but a let down for gaming...

Worth the extra little boost for the money but there getting a bit dated now

kick me out! i've upgraded to hd5670 and now waiting for sleezey to join me

btw i still curious on how can you push the card to 901MHz core, mine can't get more than 795Mhz which is a letdown since it uses HIS IceQ cooler. it suppose to overclock better.

Haha yes I shall be catching up to you in a bout 3 or 3 weeks when I have the spare cash.

And 901mhz on the core because my ambient is usually between -5*C and 10*C

So even though your cooler is bigger, means breathing chilled air + some damned good luck. 820 - 850 is my 24/7 OC though.

Not sure if this is going to my oldman or selling it on here. I need to save for some new ram 2x2GB, 4x1GB won't work on my mobo >

edit: hang on, you need to start the 5670 club! Discothèque de 5670
