can i be added too? i really love this card lotsly
post #94 of 574

I ordered the card the day it became available on New Egg - $69!

GRID plays fine in HD with some minor tweaking of the shadows and other minor things that don't effect the overall look very much.

I'm having some minor problems with Vista at the moment so I haven't played any games for awhile, but I will soon re-install Vista since I installed it over XP and I will go with a complete clean install as I believe the upgraded install is the cause of my problems.

Once I sort that out, I will try some of the mods seen here. I also might upgrade to Crossfire'd HD4670's, but I need a Crossfire motherboard.

Here's a video of a replay of me playing GRID -

I think I posted this before, but ADD ME PLEASE!

I don't buy gear often enough, but this is my 3rd ATI card.

LOL, I'm definitely going to do a huge upgrade later on. Waiting for Sapphire to put out some Vapor-X 4890s.
Looks like I'm getting the DDR4 version of the Sapphire. My 2600 went back for RMA but is discontinued so I think I'll get it as a substitute. I was hoping to be able to get a 4770 or even a 4830 but my hours got cut and just don't have the extra$$$$. Damn.
Any opinions on this card?

The GDDR4 version is 'supposed' to be a bit better at high res because of the frame buffer something something lol

The memory clock should be awesome.
