I've yet to find a FANCLUB for this case and think its about time to start one

Stack 830 Owners Check In !

I've owned lots of cases but to date nothing works as well or as cleanly as the stacker 830.

I've checked the HAF932, Antec 1200, and countless others but for what I need? This mofo takes the prize!

Count me in the Club! I just got my new CM Stacker 830 CSX Warfare edition. Its really really bad ass. Im new to the PC building world. I have just upgraded my Dells and kind of learned the ropes. I have little knowledge about overclocking but I want to get into it. Mrkryz you have that i7 over 4ghz on air? Thats sick.

I have one but since i didnt get any side fan bracket my airflow sucks balls in this case, ive got two fans in the front and one in the back and my system temperature is always in the mid 40's..

And since theyve stopped the production of the side fan bracket i cant order one.. I can just say im very unhappy with this case, here are some pics to prove i have one though lol.

My friends computer next to mine (hes in an antec 900) does well and keeps it cool at around 30C. I just hate myself when i know i could have bouth 3 antec 900's instead of one CM 830STACKER NVIDIA :/

I heard you dont need to have those side fans to get good cooling. If you have intakes in the front, exhaust on the top and the back, you can have a good flow going. Anyone opt out of the side fan bracket? Mainly to see the inside of your build?

Here's a quote from someone on the AnandTech forum:

"The three case fans of the Stacker 830 are more than enough to cool even one of the the hotter systems. You don't need the side panel that can hold four fans at all, it's overkill."

"The two mesh side panels, plus the door, drive bay bezels and mesh on top supply enough passive air to assist the three case fans."

"The comment about having the fan on the heatsink blow thru it and towards the back exhaust fan, is good advice! (I own an 830 and an 832)"

Well add +1 more to this small group.

I've never had any problems with heat in this case. Temps are normal with my first setup E8400, now an i7 920.

Unfortunately 38mm fans require me to remove my top 2 fans including the fan holders.
