Look at my R I G...

Originally I had two monitors cued up...one burnt out..I am working on my Viewsonic.

Needlesstosay, I spend a lot of time a foot and a half in front here and I would like to replace it.

You see my budget. What do you think would be the best buy (size : cost).

Probably an acer 22" if you're looking for the best size:cost http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009145 , but with that budget maybe go for a samsung 24" http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001275

I'd go for a nice 22" monitor:
http://www.ncixus.com/products/?sku=...acture=Samsung
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009145
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824236050

Any of those would be great.

*Edit* Beat out >.<
If you wanted to go for the T240, you should buy from here.

the samsung T220 still looks nice.. matte finish, glossy body.. TN panel.. has VGA,DVI,HDMI

how bout the HP w2207h? glossy screen, has 2 usb ports, doesnt have a DVI tho.. 1 year warranty only (i think samsung t220 has 3 years)

u have 500 usd budget right? how about the.. Samsungs t240, 260, 240HD or 260HD? (the HDs have tv tuners and a lot of good connections but have the worst input lag among these monitors).. i checked frys.com and they seem to be w/in ur budget

t260HD = 450 USD

how about the HP w2558hc (25.5"/26").. has a webcam, 4 usb ports and awesome articulation.. but then again.. a TN panel.. glossy as well.. but better response time compared to the samsung HD lineup = 479 USD

maybe u like a 16:9 aspect ratio (less pixels compared to a 16:10-1980x1200 therefore cheaper)? looks wider and no black bars when watching HD content.. Dell s2409w (24")? around 300-330 uSD..

For the bargain price of $189 + FS, a 21.5" Asus could be yours! 1920x1080, good response time, decent contrast. For $249 + FS, the 23.6" is also good.
