Actually, nvidia cards can't do physx's in 3dmark vantage either when the bench is left in pure form. It's modified by nvidia to force physx rendering on the gpu. This is one of the reasons it's not allowed in futuremark, hwbot, or even in the top 30 here is b/c nvidia is altering the benchmark's code.

BTW I do own nvidia cards, I perfer to game/bench with ati cards b/c the IQ is better when using AA, and they bench higher.
