Top 20 3d Mark Vantage Scores with PhysX (AMD & Intel) - Page 8

[QUOTE=St*rscream;6066400]I have been working for hours at hitting this, and finally. ((((920965))))

your CPU is capable of so much more. if you get a True on there, 3.8ghz 24/7 will be a no brainer.

congrats on the score

I will be at 4.0 before too long. But for now, I will be happy with 1st place at 3.2

The record for the i7 920 now stands at 4.8Ghz so I hardly think that 4.0 is a milestone.
I see. I was actually paying you a compliment for achievning that score with such a low CPU OC. And actually I said a 10 sec job. You should be able to hit that with only a BLCK increase, leaving all other settings auto. I wouldn't OC anything on a stock cooler, but that's just me. And 12 different benchmarks? Like what?

What record are you refering too? Hotbot? And I mentioned 4ghz because that's usually the area that people top out wether they are on water or air. Water is a little higher usually, but 4.8 is not achievable, so before you roll your eyes at someone, best make sure you know who you are talking too. The only reason you are in first is the cards, and that is the easiest thing to OC, so there isn't any skill or knowledge needed there. Sliding a bar and running a stability test is pretty straight forward.

Now get some proper cooling and break the 40 grand mark. Run, don't walk. And while your out, you might want to pick up a better board if you plan on breaking 4ghz.

You keep on calling me a kid, yet I am actually older then you. Not by much though. It's an internet forum for pete's sake. Not to be taken seriously.

No it does not. Put everything back at stock and rerun 3d mark. It looks like you have a bad overclock some where. Also make sure that you are using up to date nvidia drivers. Also dont make any changes in vantage, use the default settings.

I will update the scores on thursday, so you still have time to get your score in.
