Yes Slink I have seen the puget... but i want to use the fish tank i have now and i want better performance then that garbage they sell u for hardware.
This is what I'm going to be using for parts:
Black Ice XtremeIII Radiator
Mineral Oil 5 Gallon Pail
Now im going to be running this with 1/2" tubing for most flow possible (at least for that rad) I think this is gonna be efficient enough that pump pushes +600gal/hr so I think it will have plenty of power to move the oil.
What I have for a fish tank is something thats like 5'x1' not sure that actual volume of it but im sure a 5gal bucket will do what i want considering im going to cut down the size of which the oil will be in by adding a piece of plexiglass to the tank prolly a 1:3 ratio with 1 being where the pc/oil will be in.
I plan on cutting holes for the tubing 1 near the bottom for the return oil some where close by the cpu. Maybe even right in the center of my heatsink. Then having a line by the top of the tank for the intake line.
Then on the other 2/3 of the fish tank I'll have my pump and radiator along with the 3 ultra kaze im putting on the rad. I'll probably have my hard drives/dvd burner in there as well, not sure yet though.
What kind of tubing would be best for this and something that isnt going to wear much over time?
After I get some advice on some decent tubing (links would be greatly appreciated) I think that will be about all I need.
Total cost of the project is around 280-300$... possibly running my q6600 @ 4.0ghz stable 24/7 or more... worth it.
