Monitoring temps with rainmeter?

Thread Starter
Is it possible to use everest with rain meter? Or is there something else I have to use? I'd like to stop using vista sidebar all together because it seems to be a memory hog running my everest and cpu monitor. I'd like to keep my cpu and gpu temp if at all possible.

Real Temp 3.0 shows both the CPU and NVIDIA GPU temp now!

Samurize and Speedfan can display both temps if you prefer minimalism.

I know that the hud.vision skin has a temperature plugin, but I'm not sure how accurate it is, I haven't used it

I downloaded speedfan, it looks like it integrates with hud.vision. Its reading my gpu instead of my cpu temp though. I'm guessing I'll have to go in and edit it so it reads the right sensor? And will I have to create on to do my gpu? Has anyone done this already?

For the most minimalistic approach, I'm still recommending Real Temp 3.0 because it shows you both the GPU and CPU temps.

How does one go about changing the font for Rainmeter? I want to use disgusting behavior. I've downloaded it, added to the windows fonts folders and changed it in the .ini and the font doesn't seem to change. Am I placing it in the wrong folder?

No, you're actually doing it the way I used to do it until I finally got so angry that I just gave up and started clicking around.

As it turned out, you don't need to copy/paste anything. Just go into the Fonts folder, and this isn't immediately obvious (thanks, Microsoft), click on File, and then choose "Install New Font...". Yes. You're right: "sigh!!!" Yeah. It pissed me off too. hehe
