I'm getting really frustrated trying to get higher stable clock speeds. I just ordered a D0 so I'm hoping this would help, but I'm afraid I might have overvolted something and seriously jeopardized my board by not being able to OC that high. So the more references I see, the better.

What are the chances of damaging the mobo through higher voltages?

I think you would damage the CPU way before you would damage the mobo but I could be wrong.

Good choice on the D0 though. I had a C0/C1 and the max I could it stable was 4.2 with turbo and no HT, with the D0 I have hit 4.6 turbo on HT on completely stable! Well, that is until one stick of my RAM went bad. I just got the RMA back from Newegg so hopefully more will follow shortly!

Hey guys, I just installed the P08 BIOS and now all my programs are running really slow and skipping around when I move them across the desktop. What can I do?

Just tried playing some CoD5 and my fps was at 15-20 when its usually at ~100

Go back to G25! Or you could try reflashing P08 and see if it was a flashing problem.

Unfortunately, I'm never bored.

I never write anything down and I don't have anything saved because I have the i7 975 on the BR right now and it's settings are very different.

CXE is the only CPU feature I disable on the BR. Leave EIST, PPM, EDB, HT on.

PLL usually about 1.7 - 1.88.

And don't forget to up the ICH and ICH subvoltages some when going with a high FSB.

I'm wrestling with the Classified right now with my 920 and getting frustrated. Very tempted to bring the BR and 975 downstairs to test out the supplied LN2 pot.....
