Well I cant describe it that good, but lets say I'm on Youtube, the video is loaded all the way, but in some parts it sounds like it is trying to load and it skips/stutters like its still loading. I would guess it would fix the problem because my old HP has on-board sound, and it has never done that before.

I'm using XP because I gave up trying to install Win7 on a HDD. I thought it was Win7, but it was my HDD, but I had already installed XP. I'm just waiting on getting a new HDD and a cd/dvd drive.

Does it only do it on Youtube? play some music or a game. 3ghz is all you have overclocked it to?

It does it when I play games or music. I wasnt going to OC it, I was trying to fix the sound issue first, but while waiting for the driver to download, I used the OC software that came on the CD to bump it up a bit.

That sucks about the sound, I didn't even wanna mess with the Aegis Panel, I already pretty much know how far I can go before I start getting into problems, which is 4158mhz, anything over 200 BCLK looks like I'm gonna need to keep increasing Voltage higher and higher, so I just left it at 4Gs. Ill deal with it later, its damn 89ºF in my room so I have no intentions of overclocking more right now

I havent used my new PC in over took weeks. Its been in the 90-100s in Seattle this week and part of last week. Plus, I dont want to use it cause the sound annoys me, and I listen to music a lot.

And on other forum I'm on, some of the members told me to OC in the bios, and not use the Aegis Panel. Do you have a link for how I can OC in the bios ?? I want to OC my RAM, cause its not at 1600...

Do you have all your drivers updated?
It would be better to OC in the BIOS, Patch has a post on this thread that will help you out.

Yup, I downloaded the Realtek HD driver because I thought that would fix it. When I get it back I'll do a fresh install of Win7.

Press Delete when the computer is booting up after pressing the ON button, keep pressing it until you get into the bios. Click on the link in my sig for How to get your i7 to 4Gs. Copy the guide to Word or notepad and print it out, if you go by Quick and Dirty Way you may not need the 1.35 VTT they state, but it won;t hurt to try,

Here are the only 4 pages you need to mess with in bios to overclock

It says 3.6Ghz but that is the 19X multi, turbo Mode Always on makes it run at 21X when EIST is enabled, its at 21X right now and always I didn;t touch anything in Memory, I just set the timings manually and disabled XMP for now, will mess with it later.
