You'd just need to raise the memory multiplier and/or adjust the memory timings, depending on what exactly you want to tweak.

You then will have to test your RAM for stability. Memtest86 or Prime 95 Blend test work well for this purpose.

To be honest here...you have 2000MHz RAM already...I doubt you'll see a bit of difference by running it higher than that.

It's better to run your Blades @ 1600MHz. While the rams can do 2K, the IMC of a 920 needs some serious juice (and cooling) to run 2K stable. Your CAS-9 RAMs will pretty much run cas 8 or even cas 7 @ 1600, just have to try.

When you experiement finding stable ram timings, ALWAYS boot from the MemTest86 CD. Unstable memory can tank your OS install if you let it boot.

Same speed mine is at, I would leave it if the system is totally stable, IIRC, the next multi up is like 19XX mhz, you can try that but as said above the IMC will need more V

Well I got my Bloodrage installed and everything is running kinda ok. I realllllly want to hit 4ghz on my i7 D0 I pretty much figured out the problem why I cant hit it.

f*ing cheap ram. I bought these
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231225

it says they are 1600 but when ever I clock them to 1600mhz in the bios i get the dreaded c1 beeps.
The best I can get is 1436ish with the volts at 1.6...

Is there anything I can do to try to over come this?? or should i just get a refund from newegg and get some better ram.

I got my i7 to 3.74 but I want 4ghz. I didnt pay this money to not get what i want

That's not that bad of a kit. What are your timings set at? Also, set your RAM voltage to 1.65 which is fine for i7 memory. Also, what is your VTT at as that is the voltage to the memory controller in the CPU which affects your RAM?

I would use a bootable flash drive like with any other motherboard, but you should be able to use live update as long as you are sure your computer won't crash (ex. unstable oc).

Alright I will try uping the ram to that, and I'm not sure what the VTT is at. Whats a good setting for that.

Thanks for all the help
