should I use fox live update to update the bios or how should I go about doing it?
I will only use a USB Flash Drive for mine, I dont trust live update or any program for that matter.

Thanks for all the help
It depends on what it needs to be stable. The easiest way is to set the CPU and RAM at what you want and then up VTT one step at a time until it is stable. It takes a while but it is the best way to do it.

f*ing cheap ram. I bought these
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231225

it says they are 1600 but when ever I clock them to 1600mhz in the bios i get the dreaded c1 beeps.
The best I can get is 1436ish with the volts at 1.6...

Is there anything I can do to try to over come this?? or should i just get a refund from newegg and get some better ram.

I got my i7 to 3.74 but I want 4ghz. I didnt pay this money to not get what i want
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=667666
I have the same RAM and I can get 4.2 (200x21). I have to put a lot of voltage for that so its not 24/7 use, just benchies.
Well I got it at 3.7ghz stable 24-7 with 1.6v ram. But this ram should push to 1600mhz easily but it doesnt. So I think im just gonna rma it get my money back and spend a little more money to get ram that will get me to 4ghz stable.

I like those... and they overclock

What are your other settings at? I had to set my timings manually to OC higher.

Its supports TriSli but you have to use PCIE risers(?) for dual slot cards.
