Foxconn Bloodrage Overclocking/Help Thread - Page 50

There are no known waterblocks for the SB or mosfets. The NB waterblock that comes with it works pretty good. Someone on xtremesystems was going to make some custom blocks for the bloodrage, but I haven't heard of any progress being made.

Right now I'm using P06. P08 is the latest official bios, but I had a problem with it so I switched back to P06. G25 is the relatively new beta bios, which allows you to change your pci frequency, but it isn't really necessary to use that bios unless you are looking for some extreme overclocks.

Can I set it up so that I can run my GPU on the bottom x16 slot? Thought I saw a pic of someone who had it that way.

Yes you can. I dunno about the HAF, but with my 1200 the card ran way hotter down there for some reason.

1 more hour before I get off post. And I'm gonna get home and start OCing my 920. I'm pushing for 4ghz but if I can get 3.8 stable I'm golden oh and I'm using Bios P06. Wish me luck and if you have any tips please feel free to pass them along I'm pretty new to OCing so I'll be going nice and slow.

Yogi, I think it was mine you saw. Straight from a guy at Foxconn, you can use either x16 slot and it will work just fine. You don't need to set up anything special either.

I tried it once, but nothing showed up on my monitor. Ill try it again tonight.

EDIT: It worked . As for the temps they are the same, but it is pretty hot in my room right now. I would say its cooler for how hot it is I should have checked my temps before I switched it
My CPU is idling about 3-5c hotter then normal.

Gaming temps dropped 2-3c

This is all new to me, I never really had hardware that could oc my cpu. Here comes a noob question

Um, so how do you decrease the core voltage? For some reason it won't let me go below the default 1.25v
