What is the IOH(North Bridge) temperature you guys get without fan?
My seems around 54c idle(not sure about load) with 1.26v is this normal?
Any software can read IOH temerature under load?

I get the same ^^^^^

ALSO anyone ever had a problem with this motherboard not powering on? I have had my computer shut off randomly a few times now and it will NOT power on, what I have had to do is press the red buttong on the back and the red Force Reset while the computer was off and unplug/plug in the power cable a few times, that is the only way I can get it to power on, and thats IF I'm lucky.

Just 10 minutes ago it would'nt power on. NOTHING! the lights were on in the mobo, but when I pressed ON it just made a very faint squeal noise and that was it. I tested the PSU with a paper clip and it powered on fine. Plugged the mobo in and it didn't power on. Finally it decides to power on 3 minutes ago. Don't know what to do, I already checked all fan and everything to make sure none of the Molex pins were sticking out or shorting anything, the rest seems fine and the computer works fine otherwise.

I was really close to just running to Frys and getting the HX850 modular PSU <_<

You should post over in the Foxconn thread at xtremesystems. Lord Trident (Foxconn Rep) may be able to answer that one.

I got a stable OC, but the vcore issue is still here, it adds .29 to anything i set it to in the BIOS, could this be caused by the cpu? or is this souly MoBo related?

Ok so Im in need of some assistance.....Ive tinkered alot with this based on some peoples setups with volts ect. But not been able to get anything really stable....

I have
Bios P09
6GB Triple Ch. Mushkin Enhanced 6-7-6-18 Spec
i7 920 D0 Batch #3913B270 w/ HeatKiller 3.0
Koolance RP-980 Pumping to the HK/NB 1 Loop 1/2 ID Tube Distilled H20
Rad: Kandalf LCS Standard with new 90 CFM Fans going 100%

My temps Im thinking arn't really the problem. At one point I was running 4.4GHz and highest ºC that showed in RealTemp was 80ºC with Prime running and CPU 100% HT on and 21x210 but the PC rebooted after 2 hours during prime so fail. So I notched it downs to 4.2 and during Prime some crazy beeps went off Im not sure from what really...no temps were high and everything kept running but I worried and shut it off anyhow.

Im not to good with messing with memory and am wondering if thats whats causing the instability??? Also Im sure my bios settings for the Voltages is not that great ether. I didn't have any of them running in redzone even. I think Vcore was 1.31 and VTT was roughly the same. Ram was like 1.66 Anyone suggest a good full example of settings for a standard WC setup I could try or other suggestions. I could live with a 4.20 100% stable setup....I want 4.3, and 4.4-4.5 would be gravy but my noobism tinkering has not gotten me there so I need help. I can come back and give full reports and lists of #s if anyone cares to guide me through this

current progs i have for testing stuff: Prime 25.11, Realtemp 3.00, CPU-z 1.52

Go here to see some examples of BIOS settings.

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=221939

I just got my BR back up and running and I am already at 4.2Ghz at 1.26v vcore. I only changed the vcore, VTT and RAM voltages. I turned off all CPU features but PPM (the first setting), EIST and HT. I set my RAM manually, skip the SPD and just set it yourself. That's pretty much it. Also, I am running on P06, I have always found it to be the most stable. I am planning on trying P09 in a few days once I get completely setup. I will list my settings when I can over the next few days.

Hello to all!
I just finished installing my new foxconn bloodrage.. I'm using for the first time i7 cpu and X58 motherboard so I found myself lost in foxconns bios! I have OCZ 6GB at 1600Mhz 7-7-7-24 but the system at the very first post detect the ram and use it at 1067Mhz. In the bios I saw at Quantum BIOS the settings that might do the trick
So I tried :
System Turbo "Enabled"
Memory Bus Multiplier "x12"
all others default
that gives me the 1600Mhz on memory.
But after save and restart.. the memory is still at 1067Mhz.
Is there something that I'm missing???
The bios version is P06.

I'm assuming your base clock is 200 so you can't have memory multi x12. Set it to x8 it will give you 1600mhz.
You should really read this for better understanding what you are doing.
