Voted.

Each Year my orginization donates over $12000.00 to charities that help kids.
from youth programs to childrens hospitals, if it is for kids I will put on a Paintball tounament to raise money. Charity Paintball is what we are called. so If you are in manitoba or saskatchewan Canada and want to hold a charity event let me know and my mobile tournament field and equipment will show up.

I do have one question... how does OCN get the funds to donate?

In this specific instance, these funds are being donated out of pocket - but we are encouraging members to give alongside the Overclock.net contribution directly to the charity.

We have always given to charities and are looking to ramp up our support. My hope is that this section will one day be full of amazing charitable initiatives. I KNOW Overclockers Care.

As mentioned many times in the past, advertising currently only partially offsets our monthly operational costs. For the most part, a lot of this stuff is truly out of pocket - not supported by ads (at least yet - we are going to start bringing on new advertisers to help out - but we will still maintain our strict policies around commercial messaging).

There are truly too many here for me to vote. I do not now which to pick.

On another topic; I don't always have extra cash but would like to know how would I donate money to OCN to help contribute.

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation gets my vote. My son was diagnosed on his 7th birthday with type 1 diabetes. Not that it is the most serious disease on the list, but it is the one that means the most to me. Thanks for your help, Overclock.net!!

For those asking how to donate alongside Overclock.net to our selected charity this month, I suggest you donate directly to the organization (as opposed to pooling the money with Overclock.net). We also suggest you let other members know you have made a contribution. This is not the brag or anything silly - but rather to encourage others to help support our selected monthly charity. We will post a thread that will summarize how much we were able to raise each month once the charity has been selected.

Thanks to everyone for your votes so far - keep them coming.
