Don't upgrade the BIOS unless you have to. It will not help your OC, it would be more for new hardware support or some bug fix(es). If you must flash the BIOS make sure you do it VIA dos booting from a floppy or usb to avoid the chance or bricking your board.

The p5n-d has a very good way to update BIOS. i think you can access it FROM the BIOS, just save the update to a flash drive and navigate to it in the tool

Excellent advice. AsusUpdate kills several boards every week especially if performed from 64-bit OS.

You do not need to install all BIOS revisions. If you decide to flash then go with the latest non-BETA using ezflash from within BIOS in the TOOLS menu. Format the flash drive as fat32 and don't forget to unzip the BIOS file. You can also burn the BIOS to a cd.

Thanks guys.
You only need to load the newest one.

If you can load the BIOS this way, then it sounds pretty easy and safe to do. Again you probably won't see any benefits but people sometimes just like to have everything up to date anyway. So it is up to you.
