In other news: Are people giving their real values when listing their gfx oc's? I bet a lot of these numbers dont account for the real values/dividers.
Yes I am, mine are all stable, and work 100%, there are some on that list I find a little "odd" but hey, What can I say.

Not that I'm actually thinking that people necessarily are trying to fool anyone. Before I even started clocking myself, I suspected that some of the gtx results people got were plainly impossible because of divider restrictions (regardless of unlinking the core and shader). Not in this thread obviously, as it didnt exist then, but everywhere else I looked at the time. I think this mostly comes from the fact that people just write what they have dialed in rivatuner or whatever, without confirming the actual output.

People should be aware of that gpu-z doesnt show the right clocks. I use rivatuner temp monitor to confirm that my clocks are in fact the actual vaules I dialed in. For instance, my gxt280 shader clock (even unlinked) locks onto steps in such a manner that the closest clock after 1458 (which is a recurring value) is 1512. There are far too many inbetweens in my opinion.

But, like you say, what can you say?

Right now on Precision i'm at 621 core and 1151 Memory at 46c idle. What do you think the highest OC I can get is?

Check my attachment, Kilr ... you are running at 675/1512/1215.

But, like you say, what can you say?
Not much ... I've been yammering on about this topic pretty much throughout this thread, and the guy who started the thread still hasn't caught on to the concept. Seeing as how two of the three clocks he's listed (a couple posts above this one), saying they are totally stable ... are actually impossible clocks to be running at...

Check my attachment Killer ... you're running at 675/1512/1215, not 675/1500/1210. 1500 shaders and 1210 memory are not possible values. The RT graphs show the actual clocks your card is running at.

everythings worked out fine with my 295. I played crysis at 1600x1200 maxed out with 4x AA SMOOTH AS SILK.

Vantage scores P19540

an there appears to be no microstutter.
I checked with Vantage when the cover falls of the flying craft. no ripplin. does that mean no microstutter?

There's microstutter in some games i've tried. It's multi GPU, it's impossible NOT to have microstutter.

One reason why I'm playing games with single card option instead of sli. THinking of trading my 295 in for a 285

I was thinking about trying some crossfire 4890's and see if they're any better when it comes to the stutter.

Same. However I though a single 285 would be the most cost effective solution. So, time to pass me your 295.

I wonder though, can you p45 handle 4890's?

I've got my XFX GTX 295 running at 675/1512/1134. It's been stable and working great for me. I could prolly get more out of it, but all it's been doing lately is folding.
