I wonder though, can you p45 handle 4890's?
I figured I'd test that out as well. I have some FPS averages and benchmark numbers saved to compare with.

Hehe. Underreporting clocks isnt exactly what most people here would like to do. Glad to hear I'm not the only one being baffled by this though. It can be quite confusing for new oc'ers.

Anybody heard much about the new single PCB 295 GTX? Would be easier to cool or usable in a Quad SLi set up with an older PCB card?

I'm sure it'll quad sli, and I'd imagine it'd work out nicely in terms of cooling, as long as you use it as the bottom card. As the top card, with an older 295 on the bottom, though, it would make for a terrible cooling situation on both cards.

I'd rather have two that match, myself ... Partly for aesthetics, but also because I'm guessing the single PCB card is gonna be of a lot 'cheaper' build quality, the second gpu is probably gonna run really hot (like on a 4780X2), and I'm betting it's NOT gonna have software voltage control like the current version.

No, probably not, but it's just coincidence in this case. If someone reports 1529 as their shader clock, they are actually at 1512. So it can work both ways ...

Thats true the current PCB builds have individual PWM for voltage on each pcb, your control i would imagine would be lessen by having em share the same line so to speak

Yeah. That was my initial thought, overreporting that is.

NOW I'll leave you lucky 295'ers alone

Hmm, my GTX 295 blue LED is off. it was just on a few minutes ago.

What does this mean? How can I fix it?

Also, my GTX 295 only gets like 55-80 fps in DIRT @ 1920x1080, ultra settings, 4x AA

Is that good or bad frames?

Can someone help me with OCing my GTX 295? My temps are fine and I get no artifacts, but my PC keeps on locking up whenever I try to OC it.

I know it's not my CPU because it dosent freeze when the gpu is at stock.
