You'll like it...especially the Co-op card. Runs way cooler than the sandwich, and the fan is quieter.

Can you add me to the Owner's List? I just got my EVGA GTX295 Plus Edition with Backplate. Haven't overclocked yet but will very soon. Thanks.

waaaa 754mhz core with only 1.2v
wth...mine only goes to 675Mhz with 1.2v
i guess you could get your shader clocks higher than that with 1.2v...
nice OC anyways

It will go to 690 with ease, no volt mod necessary. I think the waterblock is helping my OC. How high do you think the shaders could go on 1.2v? Suggest me some numbers to try.

well my shaders are running on 1674Mhz with 1.2v,
since yours is a great OC'er i would try a few shader straps higher....something around 1730 or so?

I have noticed discussions, due to a Fudzilla review where the reviewer got a gtx295 co-ops hydrocopper, which must have been a prototype, because it utilized an aluminum waterblock, with just a small copper insert; aluminum is commonly used for prototyping waterblocks, apparently.

I have not yet seen it explicitly stated anywhere, so I just wanted to show these pictures for the record: the waterblock is all copper (forged? cnc from billet? grade of copper?), with a top half made of acetal or delrin.

So far it sseems impossibly powerful, with nothing to compare it to except my old s462/3500+/7950gt, lol.

I will be oc'ing it once the main cpu oc is more finalized at given settings.

Here is the included back plate, acetal top, and nickel/acetal 760 block

The co-ops hydrocopper heatsink internals and bare gtx295 co-ops, ready for TIM. Although oem TIM appears to be of decent quality it was applied in a way that left air pockets. We will see if I get a temp drop with IC7. Also HK3.0Cu.

Close up of "pins". Notice they are like the evga "e". I hope they did not sacrifice much for that design. It actually looks to my untrained eye like a modified evga "e" makes a good gpu w/b pin, ha.

I can't capture it on this camera, but the edges of the "e" pins have a tiny ridge, which is kind of "frayed", like it had burrs, but was deburred.

My question is: would it be beneficial to deburr the rough edges a little more, so they are like perfect facets?

Edit: Oh wait, you can see exactly what i'm talking about in the picture above.
