Why don't you just RMA the card if its running that hot and nothing you do seems to fix it?

You make sure to get rid of all the old ATI drivers and to make sure that multi GPU mode is on?

Yep old ATI drivers are dead and gone. multi GPU is enabled by default. Sigh

What power supply are you using? GPU-z sees the card running at 16x speed, correct?

Well, I just bought like $100 worth of powerful case fans just in case I have bad airflow that is making my GPU run hot. If this doesnt work then I will RMA it, but fear they wont accept it since I have already taken it apart to re-apply thermal paste and 2 of the screws didnt go in properly, they might notice it and void my warranty.

Case fans aren't going to drop the temps that much, unless you just have terrible airflow in your case, or your fans are super low RPM right now.

About the RMA...what exactly happened to the screws?

Do both GPU's clocks go to 3d mode when the card is stressed?

Im pretty sure my case has real bad airflow, koz the fan at the front is blocked by HDD's and bulk cable, so there is no fresh air getting to the GPU and other parts. So I am going to install a 20cm antec bigboy 200 on the side case directly at my GPU. And have a few PCI slot fans to exhaust the hot air coming from the back of the gtx 295.

When I put the screws back on the card after applying the thermal paste, there were two screws out of the 18 or so, that didnt go in properly, it is sticking out a lil bit, and will be noticable when an engineer looks at it.
