They both perform the same clock for clock. The dual PCB can be over volted with software, but the single PCB cannot. However, the single PCB runs cooler and has a much quieter fan.

How come I feel like my gtx 295 is underperforming. I have the latest driver and I'm running Fallout 3 max setting 1080p with only 40-45 fps. I don't get it shouldn't I be getting at least 60. The gtx 295 runs just as good as my hd4850 when it comes to this game. Also, with the latest driver, I can't overclock it. I try to overclock in riva tuner but everytime I press ok, the window reverts back to the stock clock before closing which is very annoying. Anyone have any idea abou this

update to the new 196.34 driver which fixed the overclocking problem.

I think you should be doing better in FO3 than that tbh, even at stock.

Which is why I'm very confused and concern at what's going on with my card. I spent a big bulk for it so I'm hoping that nothing's gone wrong. It seems to be just Fallout though that's experiencing problem. I run MW2 and Bioshock just fine

the newest driver does not help with my overclocking problem. I still can't overclock. Anyone with any idea

sigh this is killing me but is there any way to stop microstuttering in certain games. my god I couldn't play hon today because of microstutter it was soo annoying. Is there any option I can turn off so this doesn't happen? Or is the only cure to turn off multi gpu?

You could try different drivers, that might make a difference but the only sure fire cure is to turn of multi GPU.

Sigh what's the point of having a multi GPU like this if there's this kind of problem

Most games don't have a bad enough microstutter problem that your eyes actually notice it. But, if all your games mcrostutter to the point that its not enjoyable for you, then there's no point to multi GPU.

hello everyone, I seem to be having a problem with my BFG tech GTX 295. When I play certain games like AION, L4D 2, etc.. sometimes my video card goes back to Display settings and not my nvidia settings. I know for a fact that it does this all the time in AION. When I go to Nvidia control panel and click Nvidia settings, then go back into the game, it goes back to default screen settings... Has anyone had this problem, if so please help me....
