I have 2 lcd monitors and 1 lcd tv...

how do I set up the monitors and tv so I can play or display 2 games at the sametime (for example one game of WoW on one monitor and one game of WoW on another monitor, i don't play wow i'm just saying)

because when I try and do it now one game will lag while the other one runs smooth...
I even tried turning off sli.. and have one monitor one card and the other monitor the other card...same thing..one screen is smooth and the other screen lags..

both are on DVI....i tried one on DVI and one on HDMI...HDMI seems to not work so well..

any ideas?

thanks in advanced
I get this similar issue with running 3 Instances of EVE. obviously your computer is going to start prioritizing each game I.E. which ever game is open on top. I have tried playing WoW with my 295 and i get better performance running without SLI enabled then with it. so I dont think there is much of a fix for this. though have you tried other drivers?

Can anyone give me some tips for the nVidia control panel settings & best drivers to use with the 295? Looking to do some benching

I just traded my 285 + a little cash for this 295 coop ftw. I know when I had my 8800's SLI there were a few adjustments that helped.....

Thanks... BTW, sorry to bump an old thread but I figured it better than starting a whole new one...

I recommend the latest drivers which are 260.99, I got my best vantage score (compare link in sig) with them.

I do set a global profile to prefer maximum performance and that's about it! Happy benching, the 295 is a great card.

Have you done any overclocking with your 295? The highest stable I can bench/game at is 684/1476/1215 with core-shaders linked. I did unlink them once and was stable enough for a vantage run at the next higher shader strap but not stable enough for gaming or 24/7 use.

Mine runs at 684/1476/1080... Have not tried much overclocking. Bumped the core to 702 but it crashed...

Since having the issues with it crashing in games I have not done much, got to get that figured out first..

That Vantage score in your sig is with Physx off right? Mine with Physx off is 18566 - http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dmv=2662919

That was with my cpu @ 4.0...

Yep my vantage score was with PhysX off and cpu @ 4.2.

With the new way the nv drivers install I don't even install the physx or stereoscopic 3d drivers anymore (love having those options) as I don't play any physx games or do 3d.

Oh I see that bench I used the last drivers prior to the one you're using (260.63 beta), not sure how much that would make. I switched to the 260.93 when they were available.

I could never go any higher on the core than 684 just like you but was able to take the memory up to 1215mhz.

Well it seems my FTW factory clocks are not even stable... Clocked it to 602/1296/1080 right now, all the issues of crashing & freezing are gone...

Better than a bad card I guess....

OK, having a quad-sli issue. I have 2 co-op gtx295's. each runs vantage well by itself. But when I enable gtx-295, it crashes randomly during gaming/vantage. So, each card works well by itself. Any suggestions? I did successfully run a vantage or two at one point, but it won't do it anymore.

I also had a problem where my CPU OC was faulty and gave errors (even though it previously finished 20 linx runs, and 20 hours of prime) Fixed that now but still quad-sli is not working.

Got a noob question here and I figured this would be the best place to look for a good answer.

So I got my setup hooked up to a monitor via DVI cable and also hook up to an HDTV (Samsung) via the HDMI output.

I can extend the display or switch between one or the other as the main display with no problem. However, there is no option anywhere to clone or duplicate the display. It shows up in windows setting under resolution, but then gives the error that the change cannot be made.

Even my laptop with a GT230M can handle a clone display, I figured with a powerful card like the 295 I would have no problem.

Searched all over the net and found some incomplete or very unknowledgeable answers. So far no solutions though, does anyone here know a workaround to this? Or at least an explanation as to why this wouldn't work?

And my apologies ahead of time if this has already been covered, I've read through the first fifty or so pages of this thread and could not find anything on the subject.
