Please fill in your system specs, do you need DDR2 or DDR3?
A ram cooler isn't specifically needed, you could also just buy ram that doesn't run hot at all such as the G-Skill PI 8800's.

oh sorry i just registered lastnight....
Im just building new rig..... MOBO: Evga 790i Ultra, CPU: i7 920, GPU: Evga gtx 280 Ssc..
I also want the ram that performs well and LOOK Goood... So im choosing between FLEX-EX or FLEX-2...
And also, my Mobo is picky in terms or RAAM, not all DDr3 works well on it, but im sure OCZ pc3-16000 works....
Thanks....

The I7 920 is not compatible with the 790i chipset
You would need an X58 mobo.

Its not a chipset issue, its a socket issue, a 1366 socket processor wont fit in a 775 socket mobo.
