Bought 10x Yate Loon D12SH-12 today and mounting them soon up in my Storm Scout 2 Tower.

Got 5x DEMCiflex filters for the intakes and 1x Akasa FLEXA FP5S PWM Splitter and 2x Akasa FLEXA FP3S PWM Splitter to control them all via my mobo.

2x of the Yate's are for the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo wich a friend of mine had spare.

I bought them from techbay.no, cause newegg doesnt excist here.

Looking forward to it smile.gif

They both move freely, except the one that vibrates for about 1min then stops. But opened them up and checked anyhow, and they're both lubed more than enough, probably just a bad batch. I just put an old Antec fans in place of the the one and ignore the vibration sound from the the since it goes away, for now.

Quick question trying to replace a fan on my heatsink and having trouble putting a yate loon on because instead of the screw hole being open it is in a tube so i can't pull though the rubber device that holds the fan to the heatsink.

The only thing i can think of is to take a hacksaw and cut the tube on both ends and then crush it with some pliers.

I liked Koolertek's Loons better than Petra's. The former definitely felt like they were pushing more air.
