Be careful you don't blow the guts out of the H50. biggrin.gif

biggrin.gif It should hold. The threads for the rear mounts are stripped on the H50, so I had to resort to using cable ties. The whole thing is being held on the case right now with some thin ties.

I can't figure if it is just the 2 fans airflow causing them to make the oscillating noise or whether it's the airflow getting chopped up by the case on exit which might be making the fan noise oscillate. I have 2 shrouds, will remove one and see.

I still have these fans:

1 x 9G121H1011 (open corners) PRE-SLEEVED
1 x 9G121H1011 (open corners)
1 x 9G1212H101 (closed corners)

that are pretty much brand new. Would I still be able to sell these at a premium?

Gotta pic of that? 109P should have sharp corners on its blades. 1212 is for 12 cm, 12-Volts. M would usually trail the 4 that stands for a 25mm thickness.I don't get the D, and why it intrudes where you would normally have 406. I could understand 109P1212P4M06: PWM 25mm medium speed fan. But your model number I don't get. No time to websearch it now -- I'm running fans in the basement and doing a photoshoot.

0.14A rating. Those should be some nice quiet low speed items.

I see D01 after the 4 would've indicated a lock sensor, but D06 I just don't see on the numbering system.

06 would indicate a custom or semi-custom wiring or attachment. The 0.14A? That confirms that the M stands for medium speed: the 9G1212M4011 is 1950 rpm and draws 0.14A. It's the 'D' I can't figure out.

Two San Ace 9G1212H101 on my NH-D14 atm. Only problem is they do not have enough cfm when I push the cpu over 4.4Ghz. Thinking of picking up two of h101 big brothers, 9G1212G101 but newark sells them connector free.

How hard is it to install a 3 pin connector?

How hard is it to install a 3 pin connector?

It's easy if you have the right tools, but those cost more than $20 US. That is your best price, but with shipping + supplies, it adds up; I have one because I do it a lot.

The easiest way is to buy a couple of these, or these, or even these ( all with free shipping). Then cut off the unneeded wires so that you have a single fan tail. Yes, it's wasteful, but SVC will send you these with no charge for shipping.

Then look at part two of this thread.

Thank you very much. Already saw your converting San Ace thread. I got plenty of old/broken fans and a soldering tool. Only thing I am short on is time biggrin.gif
