The Sanyo Denki CLUB! - Page 2

Here is a link to my post about the differences between the old 1011's and the new (better) replacements:

Explanation

I have 3 of the new Sanyo Denki San Ace's; 9G1212H101.

ADD ME

EDIT: Here is also a link to my cheesy San Ace mod to get the 25mm clips that came with Optimus Prime to make it work for a 38mm fan. Enjoy the pics!

I will do you one better. Here is the link to the original post:

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/.../t-205650.html

and here is the information in that post:
Quote:
I have found out directly from Sanyo Denki that the 109R1212H1011 is phased out.

This is the Email I received from Becky @ San Ace

These are not the same fans--- the 109R is being phased out.
There are a few differences between the 2 fans.

109R1212H1011 120x120x38 / 2600 rpm / 102.4 CFM / 0.26 H20 / 39 dBA

9G1212H1011 120x120x38 / 2600 rpm / 99 CFM / 0.29 H20 / 39 dBA

These fans are mfg'd overseas- a good portion of the 10-12 wks cover
the transit time req'd for travel by boat and sitting in the port for customs.

To purchase directly from Sanyo Denki, you would need to purchase approx $100k annually.

Becky

I am planning on getting some of these fans. The lead time from the vendor would be 8 weeks. Cost per fan would be $17.00 each. But I will have to get 20 units. I could get a better price break for a bigger buy. The only difference between the fans seems to be a Lower CFM @ 99 cfm vs 102 cfm and the static pressure @ .283 InchH2O vs .260 InchH2O, so since it has a higher Static pressure and a lower Cfm it should perform real good on a Radiator and very good in open air. Also the Rated watts are low enouth to use directly on the MoBo fan header.

LET ME KNOW IF ANY ONE IS INTERESTED IN GETTING ONE OF THESE FANS
I AM NOT TRYING TO MAKE ANY PROFIT, SO COST WILL BE MY COST PLUS SHIIPPING

With all due respect, regardless of the maker, the hydro wave bearings are the best design.
