Can you add Antec Formula 5. I have used it for a long time and the 'ingredients' seem to be the same as AS5. I bought a couple of tubes and have had them for a while, while I was at the store last week I noticed the stuff has doubled in price so I would like to see where it stands.

edit: just saw the request for AF5

Just kidding But on a serious note, isn't the "generic TIM from TRUE" actually thermalright chillfactor? Cuz chillfactor is actually equal to AS5 level performance! I think you should get some of that really cheap white stuff, just a suggestion.
Lol... I honestly voted that I was an idiot and that I didn't care. I'm just curious who the other 3 people were!!

I have no idea what the "stock" TRUE paste is. If we can get some confirmation as to what it is (It's not in my posession yet... waiting on sdla4ever to ship)... I will update the original post.

I don't have any access to truly generic white-paste. If you do and would like to contribute it... I would be more than happy to test it.

I would be more than willing to contact them. Please provide me with a contact address as the last one did not seem to work and I simply don't have the time to look for all these e-mail addresses and study for finals.

On a plus side... these will be the last "finals" of a long educational career. Bar Exam in July though...

I don't know if its possible, but it would be an interesting comparison to compare all those high end thermal pastes vs the crappy white stuff thats included OEM with cheaper coolers. (I.e. the stuff that comes with Thermaltake coolers etc)

If you or anyone can provide it for me, I will be happy to test it.

Aye, Aye captain!

Just waiting on the Lapped TRUE to get delivered.

This will likely not be a quick process as I plan to devote at least 1 full day to each TIM. I want to get good and reliable data. I will be applying each TIM at least 2-3 times... possibly more. The best test results will be the results posted. Just hang in there with me!!

I will likely post test results and pictures as I go. Probably will host the pictures on an outside service such as Flickr to save OCN the bandwith.

That will all be determined in due time.

Cheers everyone!! Thanks for everything!

The flaw with your planned testing of 1 TIM per day is that the next day the ambient temperature will be different unless your in a controlled environment. The best way around this is to find the delta.

But perhaps I will find the delta anyhow...

No, no. You're no idiot, lol.

But I do think previous post have a good point. Need controlled environment. Be sure to have ambient thermometer reading handy and hope that it's the same temperature. Otherwise we will have to do all that crazy Calculus stuff that I can't remember a "manure" thing of.
