Fallout 3 vs oblivion

I didnt think Fallout 3 was as good as Oblivion. Im still playing Oblivion but Im tired of Fallout 3 after beating some of the main missions. I tried playing around with the Project Purity ending and I didnt feel like playing the game anymore I just dont know.

I killed just about every beast I could find with the mutant after you get the GECK he seemed to make me invincible at this point. I didnt care anymore about running around and having to talk to everyone and finding a home for that little kid since thats pretty much all that was left.

Did I miss something with this game because I wasnt getting into any side missions like I do with Oblivion. So other than the graphics looking cool is there something else? In all fairness I really liked the game but I really wanted it to be longer.

I agree after beating it I installed it a few times and tried to get into it. Unfortunately I just cannot seem to get into to the game at all. I actually fall asleep when I play LOL.

They both are great... Side quests had to be searched for more so than oblivion which is ehh.

I like oblivion a little better but I love the VATS system.

Wait, you have spoiled it, gah i'm only halfway through I think one of the bad things about Oblivion was having quests sign posted to obviously, nto enough hard searching or actually reading books to get information!

I should have gotten rid of the mutant. I just dont like rpg games that I get too powerful too fast. I was looking for more rpg elements maybe.

I set loose about 400 super mutants across the map in various places on Fallout3, makes it quite interesting for sure.

I actually don't like the VATS system. Sure it's cool, but it makes it feel too much like turn-based combat... which is ultra lame.
