I was under the impression that I may need lots of juice to do some real overclocking. If that's not the case I may downgrade psu wattage choice as you suggest, linskingdom.
What do you think?
Thanks.

video solution concerns me about your overall enjoyment of your new rig.

I propose the following (based on your prices it seems like they were coming from newegg.com

Seventeam ST-850PAF 850W ATX 12V V2.2 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC - $129.99 20% off today only with promo code NEWEGGPSU20
MSI R4830-T2D512 Radeon HD 4830 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 - $91.99 Free Shipping 20 mail in on the Video Card

Shipped total from new egg on the above components is $206.78 after the promo code on the PSU. that doesn't count the 20 dollar mail in

Thanks for that input, BigWooly. I checked them out and your recommendations are right up my alley. I'll give it a more thorough look and may switch to your recommendation before buying.

Thanks.
The price differernce between 650tx/750tx and 850tx can give you a better GPU. Also, ideally should get the EP45-UD3P and regular ddr2 ram. DDR3 ram doesn't show any significant performance boost.

Oh, its just a step up from the graphics card the other guy posted.
ATI RADEON HD 4850.

Do what you want though.

Was sort of "waiting" to hear that about the EP45-UD3P. I read that a few times, but then I'd see where others would say, "...for just $15 more you can get the EP45T-UD3P DDR3 board...". But I admit, your opinion was lurking in the back of my mind as correct all along, because that is what I would mostly read. Thanks for helping me decide on that, linskingdom. I'll switch.
