My i7 does 4.2ghz @ 1.36v and runs near 80C, so no-go for me. I'm back down to 3.8 at 1.25v at 70C

I have V2, Could you share your bios settings, so I could try to O/C mine? Thanks Dave.

This may seem a little silly ... but have you connected up those outputs?
I don't know ... sometimes, when nothing else works, I always go back to the simplest of questions ... "Is it on?" lol .... which I guess in this case is whether you have plugged those outputs in :-)

was having the same problem in my 1200 and P6T. the problem was i was using the ac97 plug instead of the hd audio plug, connected to the board. so you connect the hdaudio plug to the front panel hd audio on the board and set in the bios for hd audio, and your done

I did that. I used the hd audio plug but I dont see how the plug on the front panel could be disconnected, unless it comes like that in box but from the looks of it it just had a cable dangling that said hd audio on one and ac97 on the other, coming off of the hd audio plug....still no sound

did you set on the bios, the front panel type audio? see if its on hd audio or ac97.
