Guys I got since last week a Asus P6T Deluxe V2 but I got some problems with it. Everything works great exept for 1 little thing. The bios sometimes just changes the boot priority. This means I need to get in the bios everytime to set the boot order right. The motherboard alwasy change the external hdd's to priority 1.

Is there anything i can do about this? I have upgraded the bios to the last version with some hope it would stop.

Could be your battery. Do you have to reset the clock every time you go into windows?

Are your external hard drives powered externally as well (in other words, are you using an external hdd enclosure)?

If so, if they are powered on at boot up, the bios can assume they are the bootable drive.

If you have one or more of them in raid with internal drives then you are pretty much out of luck.

If they are just storage units, keep them off until you are powered up and it will prevent drive realignment.
