Could someone tell me what to set on my Deluxe V2 (with D0 chip), to get it to 4Ghz? I've never overclocked before and I'm rather nervous about playing with the settings in BIOS...do I really have anything to be afraid of?

Well if you are afraid of frying a $300 chip and possibly motherboard then yes, you could have something to be afraid of I would start small (say 3.8ghz) and then move up slowly. Set your CPU voltage to 1.21 and your Bclock to 181mhz and manually set your ram to something BELOW 1600mhz. Go into windows and test for stability with prime 95 or Linx. Also make sure your temps are good (you have a good cooler so you should be good). If all is good then set your Bclock to 191 and then retest for heat and stability. If its not stable then raise your Vcore a bit to maybe 1.2225 or whatever it defaults to close to that. That should be all there is to it. I doubt you would need to go above 1.25 Volts. When you get 4ghz you can set it to 1600mhz again. Also if you dont like turbo mode on then you would have to set your Bclock to 200mhz to get 4ghz.

Cool man, thanks! +rep!
Do you know what kind of temps should I expect with the 4Ghz OC? Will the temps be a lot better under water?
Also, how long should I run P95 to ensure I have a stable OC?

temps depend on if you have HT on or off (I'd suggest off, it really only impacts a couple of apps).

On air with HT off with your cooler, I'd assume temps under load would be high 60's celcius (which is what I get at 4ghz with a TRUE).

I'd run prime for 8 hours to be completely certain of stability.

What apps are impacted by HT being on, or off?

Will my temps drop significantly if I put it under water?

Here's a screenshot of how I'm currently running:

I just leave HT on. It seems to fold faster with HT on.

So, does the P6T SE BIOS support SLI yet? IIRC Asus was going to add SLI support to all mobos via BIOS updates.

Also, is there ANY need for me to crossflash P6T and P6T SE bioses if I don't need SLI?
