[madshrimps] 5 stage cascade unit

We've seen single stage phase chase cooling units go retail, dual stage units build by many enthusiasts, even triple stage units in action at large overclocking events... this one takes the cake though, five stages, whatever temperature he's aiming to achieve, it will be well below zero.

Will this monster, once finished, be able to tame an overclocked Core i7 ? What do you think?

1 Maneurop NTZ 136 22m³/h
2 Maneurop MTZ56 16m³/h
3 Maneurop MTZ44 13m³/h
4 Maneurop MTZ40 11m³/h
5 Lunite Rotary 4m³/h

Refigerants
1. R404a
2. R170
3. R14
4. R50
5. Ar/N²/R50
Single stage will usually get you around -40C load, and three stage units will get you around -100C to -120C, but 5 stages?! I can't wait for this guy to overclock something!

Yeah, it's in German. Just a warning. Pics are universal though

GERMAN ENGINEERING FTW

Ooh, would you look at that frost!

It doesn't translate the extreme cooling forum, just goes to a black babelfish.
Was looking forward to a good read.

Thats slightly more Epeen than the "Goliath" ...sad part about it, is its unlikely that anyone will be able to run all 5-stages at full cooling potential, even with a i7 under extreme load... cold-bug will most likely prevent any temps much below -160...

Amazing craftmanship and vision though..amazing.
