Building ASAP 720 BE/ mci790gx-g65, please help

Has anyone heard anything about this board? I picked this one for the on board graphix depending on how well it works i may upgrade the hard drive(ssd), case, ram, cooling/overclocking, and then a high end graphix card? <<I could use some advice on my future upgrading order too.

this is the MOBO

MSI 790GX-G65 AM3 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130224
http://www.legitreviews.com/article/953/7/

Sideport Memory

* Equipped 1 Gigabit (128MB) DDR3 1333MHz IGP boost memory to accelerate onboard VGA 3D performance enhanced up to an additional 15%.
* Independent IGP memory can reduce the consumption of system memory
?has anyone heard of this IGP?

my current plan with the prices i have found on newegg is in my sig

I don't know what ram to get haven't researched what timings and volts, 1333 or 1600, pc3 10666 etc. is best, so i could really use some help picking ram. something around $45

the corsiar psu seemed like a great deal but if i could find something reliable for a little less, and with head room for overclocking and upgrading, i would like to save on that.
found this psu on microcenter but i don't know if it's any good

$45 will get you 2x 1gb of ddr3. The only reason i can see going with higher bandwidth ddr3's is to underclock it to try and get tighter timings. Stick with the antec 300. If you're trying to save money go with a different board. Such as Biostars 790gx AM3 board. The coolmax PSU is a pretty good deal.

Matters what OS your running and what you plan on using the computer for. But personally i prefer 2x 2gb and nothing more.

for now it is going to be a very light gaming machine, only pc game i want to play is civ 4. but mostly multitasking home computer. i'm thinking windows 7 beta, maybe vista depending on where i can find it.

can i upgrade later with another 2x1? does 4x1 vs 2x2 make a difference?

I'm thinking about trying the 'ready boost' flash drive option too but haven't heard much about it since i'm still on xp.

Ive read how it can be problematic filling all four DIMM's on AM3. Keep in mind that the lowest ive ever been able to get Vista 64 running at was 600mb of ram use. so that would be approx 5/16 of your available ram.

Id go for the tighter timings than the higher bandwidth. The reapers are notorious for clearance problems with some of the bigger CPU coolers, but they offer good passive cooling.

the top review on newegg is why i picked the special ops ocz, (and the discount)

Pros: This is a great serious set of RAM. OCZ has always been known for their products and it shows. Memory running very stable at 1333MHz with my Phenom II X3 720 with timings of 6-6-6-19 @ 1.9v on an MSI 790GX-G65 board. No issues or problems. I have not pushed it further because of the limitations of the Phenom II DDR3 memory controller.
Cons: Green PC Board. Come on OCZ wow us. A black PC Board would have been even sweeter
Other Thoughts: Check your hardware and ask for help before bashing a product. Most of the negative reviews I read are from users not knowing what they are doing. Just because your RAM is 1600MHz does not mean your system will support it. Phenom II's are limited to 1333MHz because of issues with the Memory controller currently in the chips.

I'm not sure exactly how everything works but couldn't i do what this guy did, or can the 6-6-6-20 rams have even tighter timings? all i see is the 30 bucks off plus free shipping making it a great deal, but if it's not the best i just want to confirm because i'm buying as soon as i grow a pair or figure out how all this new stuff works.

or i might just buy later tonight
